Warter School is on the list to have our SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspection this academic year - 2025-26.
SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) is the inspection system used by the Church of England and Methodist Church to check how well Church schools are living out their Christian vision. This inspection looks at religious education, collective worship, and how well pupils are developing spiritually, morally, socially, and culturally. The aim is to see how the school’s Christian vision helps everyone to flourish.
During the inspection, inspectors will talk with leaders, staff, pupils, parents, and local church representatives. They will look at school policies, pupils’ work, and observe daily life in school to understand how the Christian values shape what the school does. The inspection also considers how the school works with its wider trust and local church community.
Schools are expected to show how their Christian vision fits the needs of their community, how leadership and governance support this vision, and how collective worship and religious education are planned and delivered. The inspection helps schools reflect on their strengths and areas for development in living out their Christian foundation.
At Warter, our Christian distinctiveness is central to all we do, shaping our curriculum, collective worship, and the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of our pupils. This inspection will give us the opportunity to demonstrate how our theologically rooted Christian vision, inspired by our core values of hope, perseverance, friendship, and respect, continues to guide and support our school community to flourish. SIAMS Inspection at Warter - March 2018
This report was produced at the end of our last inspection in 2018, and it graded the school as outstanding in all areas inspected. This accurately reflects the hard work and determination of the staff, governors and children since our last inspection nearly five years ago. The governors, staff and children are exceedingly pleased with the report. Many thanks to all the parents, governors, staff and children who spent time with the inspector to share our amazing school.
